Second Quarter 2012

13 July, 2012

At the 2012 second Quarterly Breakfast, the Venturi Brighter Day Employee fund awarded four grants. The recipients for this quarter were Friends, Inc, Huntsville Community Chorus, Semper Fi Community Task Force, and The Huntsville Hospital Foundation (Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund).

Our first recipient for this quarter, Friends Inc., is an organization that enhances quality of life for individuals with serious medical conditions by allowing them to maintain their independence with the help of volunteers. They will be using their $2,500 check to purchase background checks for their volunteers and to print brochures for community awareness.

They will be using their $2,500.00 check to purchase supplies and uniforms for members of the children’s chorus who couldn’t otherwise afford those items.
