At the 2012 third Quarterly Breakfast, the Venturi Brighter Day Employee fund awarded three grants. The recipients for this quarter were Girls, Inc., Our Place, and the Greater Huntsville Humane Society.
Our first recipient for this quarter, Girls, Inc., is an organization that strives to empower young girls to be strong, smart and educated so that the choices they make today have a positive impact on their future. They will be using their $5,000 check to purchase specialized software.

The second recipient for this quarter, Our Place, is a consumer-run drop-in center for people living with mental illness. They will be using their $5,000.00 check to fund operating expenses. Venturi Corporate also donated an additional $4,000 to furnish a second bathroom for their facility.

The final recipient for this quarter, The Greater Huntsville Humane Society, provides adoption services for unwanted and homeless pets. They will be using their $6,780 check to purchase exterior lighting for their facility.
