Fourth Quarter 2011

At the 2011 fourth Quarterly Breakfast, the Venturi Brighter Day Employee fund awarded three grants. The recipients for this quarter were:  CASA of Madison County, Still Serving Veterans, and CAJA.

Our first recipient for this quarter, CASA of Madison County is an organization that provides basic needs to clients aged 60 and over. CASA will be using their $4,500 to build wheel chair ramps, install grab bars, and purchase durable medical equipment

The second recipient for this quarter, Still Serving Veterans is an organization that provides guidance and support to wounded warriors and veterans while they transition from active duty. They will be using their $4,500.00 check to provide counseling and job seeking support.

The final recipient for this quarter, CAJA (Court Appointed Juvenile Advocates) provides court advocates to abused or neglected children while they endure the court system and foster care. They will be using their $5,000.00 check to purchase 4 computers and software.
