At the final Quarterly Breakfast of 2012, the Venturi Brighter Day Employee fund awarded three grants. The recipients for this quarter were Nexus Energy, CAJA Friends, Inc., and Hudson Alpha.
Our first recipient for this quarter, Nexus Energy, is an organization that provides programs to support environmental energy sustainability. They will be using their $4,500 check to purchase furniture for their new training facility.

The second recipient for this quarter, Court Appointed Juvenile Advocates (CAJA) Friends, Inc., provides service and assistance to children who have been abused or neglected or abandoned and are caught in the devastating cycle of the court system and foster care. They will be using their $4,000 check to purchase computer software.

The final recipient for this quarter, Hudson Alpha, improves quality of life through educational outreach, economic development and research. They will be using their $6,500 check to purchase a mobile Microsoft lab that will benefit students in grades 3-12 in North Alabama.
